90 Popular Parametric Surfaces

Formulas (*.frm files) to use with the ParametricSurface plugin 
in ElectricImage Animator v8.


Requirements:

1. Animator version 8
2. XPressionist plugin
3. ParametricSurface plugin


Installation:

Copy the .frm-files you want to use into the folder
EIAS 8.0.0 / EI Sockets / Parametric Data

A .frm file is a plain text file with the .frm extension.


Use:

1. Load the XPressionist plugin to the project.

2. Load the ParametricSurface plugin to the project.

3. Open the ParametricSurface interface.

4. Click Load... to load a formula, and a preset if available. 
The installed formulas should appear in the Formulas List. 
The list is sorted by filename (which is not the name of the formula).

5. Adjust parameters and click Apply or OK to see the surface. 
Tips: Use the A1 and A2 ranges to modify the shape of open surfaces. 
Use the Steps numbers and the Triangulate option to adjust the 
resolution of the geometry. 
Disable the Cull Backfaces option in Animator to see the entire 
surface in shaded view.

Important Note: The ParametricSurface plugin will display but not 
render the surface.

6. To render the surface, export the ParametricSurface plugin, and 
re-import the geometry.
